Photo Specifications
The Passport-size Photograph
Embassy has instructed us that the photo upload feature is not yet fully operational.
Hence, digital photo uploading need not be done .
Photos should be taken on a good quality photo papers with standard resolutions. This
is to avoid any rejections from the Embassy due to the poor quality of the photo
The Embassy of India in Norway has decided that photos for the visa application has to be 50 mm x 50 mm.
Note that photos on plain paper will not be accepted.The colored photograph must be of good quality, with natural skin tones. The background must be light and plain, the face in focus and facing the front.
Applications where photos do not meet this standard will be returned to the applicant at the applicants own expense + administrative charges (NOK 50 per application).
Applicants can obtain the photograph (correct specification) at the Visa Application Centre for a nominal fee of NOK 95.
